List of organizations

If you are interested in hosting or want more information about hosting, here are a few organizations. All organizations have the same and yet different requirements. You can click on the links below to find out more about each organization. Also feel free to send me a email at alissa@hopefarmsec.com

The organization we went with this past winter is called Kids In Need. The ladies who run the organization are great to work with and accessible all the time, if you need anything during hosting. They personally know each kid that comes over. Tatyana and Mariana are great! They want to help you find the right child for your family to make it a great experience! This organization is for Ukraine right now.

International Host Connection is another organization for Ukraine. I was able to speak with a few people who hosted through this organization. They are larger. I have spoken with Tasha before who is one of the founders, She is very passionate about what she does and goes to Ukraine a lot. She also knows each kid. The hosting kids fly into Dallas into or  Washington DC. You can go and pick them up and bring them back to your state. This organization is only for Ukraine.

Kidsave is another organization but focuses on Columbia. I spoke with them and they have many drop off points in the United States. You do not need to adopt the children, but need to be their advocate. If there are many hosting groups around where you host, you may have weekend events to attend. Seems like a great organization and will work with you.

Frontier Horizon is a organization that hosts orphans from Columbia, Nicaragua, and Ukraine. They have been around for many years. I spoke with Tom, who is the executive director. He is very passionate and very passionate about Nicaragua. It is a wonderful country to host from, not adopt. You are unable to adopt there. It is extremely difficult. The kids who come over are as young as 6. It is very poor and these kids need a family to love them and perhaps keep hosting them each year. What a great way to have a new member of your family! Tom really encouraged me that their organization is working on a few more countries to host from, but its a long process. I can’t wait to see what God is working on and His plans for more orphans to find hope!
