Can you homeschool? Yes!!!!! I never thought I would homeschool. Randy was against it! God moved us to Dallas and it was that move that lead me to homeschool. A friend introduced me to another friend about a school for my oldest child once a week. Dawson was 4 at the time and I though what a great way for him to learn how to sit and be exposed to a classroom. It was that community (Classical Conversations), that lead me to homeschooling. My 3 and 4 year old were learning and growing so much. I already enjoyed doing things with them at home, so my community gave me confidence I could do it to. You know what? Randy thought wow the kids are learning so much this is great! I can see the kids, we can go on vacation, and we are in charge of what they learn and how much they learn!!!! My husband will never let me NOT homeschool now. He loves it! I do to! Kids are home only for a short time. The key is making sure they want to come back! It has been a fun experience and I believe everyone can do. If you think you can’t, why not? Have you prayed about it? How is your time being used otherwise? Who is influencing your kids more, the school or you? God will always provide what we need when we seek Him. He will provide the right people. The amount of energy. He will fill you up and refine you in ways, you will be thankful for you listened to Him. Is it hard? Yes. But you can do it! I promise. We actually homeschool all year around so I have flexibility with the kids doing chores, farm events, and we are always blessed with so many visitors! I also believe kids need structure and so do I! We all do so much better with a set schedule and know what is expected each day (with some flexibility). My kids also love me readying many history books, so we just keep going…..
