Randy came to me and asked if I wanted a project. I said, “A what?” He knows how much I love things to do, I suppose! A farmer who had hundreds of sheep, had two little lambs that had been found on the property. Sometimes if it a first time for a ewe to give birth, she gets scared and leaves the little lamb. Well with a farm this big, it is not uncommon to have these situations and then it becomes a lot of work for the farmer to feed them and give attention to them. Randy decided we would take the lambs and it would give us a good idea of what we needed to do when our lambs would give birth. They are so cute! Our donkeys are very protective of them and if they get out, they heard the little ones back to their pen! Gracie is amazing at this and will come by and the lambs and her touch noses. It is so sweet!
